Lt Col. Gary Morris with Jeremy Chrysler
Almost a year ago I found myself in an assisted living home in Irving, TX and a man sitting across from me was wearing an intriguing Vietnam Veteran hat. I struck up a conversation and began to thank this gentleman for his service for our country. I had the privilege to be acquainted with this great war veteran who served our country honorably and unfortunately lost many friends during the war. I was interested when he said he had a painting which I could tell was very special to him.
This picture is taken with Mr. Morris and myself in front of this beautiful eagle that he painted. The patriotic painting called “Courage” was painted with 56,248 artist brush strokes, representing the heroic Americans who did not return home from Vietnam.
To all of our veterans we thank, honor and pay tribute to you. May we never forget the sacrifices of our veterans!
Jeremy Chrysler
